The SS1HB module is idea for driving electric motors and actuators up to 5A/12VDC continuous duty. This compact module is housed inside of an automotive style relay enclosure and can be used in heavy-duty industrial applications such as: linear actuator control, proportional valve Control, DC electric motor control or as a Modbus RS-485 H-Bridge slave device.  The SSHB software can be customized by our engineering team with soft-start-stop, custom stepper function or even programmed with an automatic repeat timing function. SSHB modules includes 2x configurable inputs for adding addition functionality, and an optional Modbus RS-485 serial communication connections.  The SSHB is an extremely versatile product and uses the same PIC chip micro-controller used in the DXF’s SS1 and SS2 product offering.  Contact us today with your custom H-Bridge control requirement.

SS1 One Output Microcontroller Relay

The SS1 IO modules are ideal for applications requiring one output and up to two independently configured inputs. The SS1’s output can be configured with either a high-side signal, low-side signal or with an optional PWM output signal. The SS1 modular software design allows us to economically create custom software programs even for low volume prototypes. These compact modules are typically used for simple IO requirements such as: On-Delay Timer, Off-Delay Timer, Repeat Cycle Timer / Flashers, Interval Delay Timer, After-run Timer, Latching / Bistable Relay, Battery Voltage Sensing Relay, Current Sensing Relay or as a high power Modbus Relay.

SS8 Eight Outputs IO Microcontroller Wi-Fi

Our SS8 is a heavy-duty industrial IO micro-controller with embedded IOT capabilities designed for controlling and monitoring applications requiring multiple inputs and outputs. The SS8 in its standard hardware configuration includes 8x low-side outputs, 3x analog / digital inputs and 2x serial communication ports for Modbus RTU RS-485 and CANbus.  These seral ports can be used for connecting an engine ECU, sensors, equipment HMI’s or other electronics to our controller.  This powerful IO module can be embedded with a fully certified Wi-Fi module or a cellular G3 modem giving the SS8 advanced IOT capabilities. An added benefit of the IOT embedded electronics is the ability to remotely monitor assets, remotely active outputs or make (OTA) over the air software updates without cables and without having to open the waterproof enclosure.  The SS8 is available in multiple custom configurations which can include custom software, custom hardware, plug and play wiring harnesses or even as an open source option where the customer can manage the software development.  When your company chooses DFX you not only obtain a reliable controller with many capabilities, but you also get an extension of our engineering team who will work with you to develop a custom products that meets and exceeds your applications requirement.

AE-220 General Purpose I/O Module

Our AE-220 general purpose I/O module is an optional add-on CANbus J1939 controller for applications requiring more complex monitoring and control of the engine and equipment functions. This I/O module connects to the CANbus J1939 network via our plug and play M12A cables and includes separate high power and ground pins for providing power to sensors, valves, actuators, etc. The AE-220 can support high level devices such as tachometer, quadrature encoders, differential pressure senders, pressure transducers, flow meters, actuators, and PWM Valves. The AE-220 CNC machined aluminum sealed housing drops into panel mount opening. Since the AE-220 is CANbus based the device digital outputs signals can be activated from the SD-105 display function keypad or our optional KP series keypads.

FEATURES
• General purpose I/O module adds additional capabilities to the standard I/O configured display when applications require more complex monitoring and control.
• The AE-220 has two CANbus J1939 ports and easily connects to the CAN network via our M12A plug and play cables.
